Power 2032 (5-3) came ready to play Saturday for two competitive match-ups. With the full lineup available, they jumped out early on PSB (2-4) and never looked back. Isaiah was unstoppable in the paint, with 13 points in the first half alone.

The team locked down on defense against a scrappy squad, with an aggressive full court press that rattled their opponent. Sam directed the offense, driving aggressively to the hoop and finding his open teammates. Chase S. got the open looks the most, scoring 9 points with high percentage shooting. Chase B. was a force on the boards, with Tucker W. providing solid guard play off the bench.
Game two against Magic (6-2) was a battle from the beginning. Magic jumped out to an early 6 point lead, but after a 1Q timeout, Power regrouped and built a lead into half time they would hold to the final minute. The game was fast paced against an aggressive Magic press that Power adjusted to and used to their advantage. Sam was able to anticipate the traps and get the ball to his open teammates. Aiden moved great away from the ball, getting open and knocking down the short range shots.

The team had to figure out how to defend Magic's 6-2 center (#2), but this proved a simple task for Isaiah and Chase B. Both players locked down to frustrate #2 who picked up three fouls in the first quarter and left the game for most of quarters 2 and 3.
Power controlled the game to the final 90 seconds when things began to slip away. There was an unfortunate late whistle against Aiden on a 3 point shot that led to three foul shots, but ultimately it was Powers' inability to get the ball in-bounds and control possession at the end that cost the game. Power has two weeks to regroup and prepare for an almost certain rematch against this team in the playoffs.
