Young Sports Foundation is a registered Public Charity Organization with status 509(a)(2) under Section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Services code with EIN 82-2167369 operating in the State of Colorado . We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and your donation is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. No goods or services are provided in exchange for your generous gift. As determined by the IRS, your donation to the Young Sports Foundation qualifies as a charitable deduction for federal income tax purposes under IRC Section Section 170
Mission Statement
Our mission is to create opportunities to foster a more inclusive and equitable society by starting with the youth. To empower and inspire the next generation by providing equitable access to opportunities, rights, and resources regardless of their race, gender, religion, socioeconomic status, or other characteristics. We strive to eliminate discrimination and systemic inequalities, promoting fairness, equity, and the dignity of all people.
We aim to do so through supporting young men and women to participate in youth sports programs that foster strong character development, teamwork, and leadership skills. We believe that every person, regardless of their background, deserves the opportunity to thrive, and supporting athletics is our gateway to success in all aspects of life.
Through grants, scholarships, and strategic donations, our goal is to remove financial barriers for young athletes and their families, while ensuring they have support and obtain the financial resources needed to participate in quality sports programs, have the means to obtain essential sports gear, cover travel expenses, game fees, program fees, additional training investments, and other associated costs. We are dedicated to creating a level playing field and unlocking the full potential of youth on and off the court or field.

Many employers sponsor matching donation programs to charitable organizations, which will double your gift-giving opportunity at no cost to your!
