With strong offensive performance from Tydus and lock down defense from Sam and Lincoln
The YB Power 2031 squad found themselves back on track by pulling to wins on Saturday night. It was a real team effort that shows that the hard work and attention to details in practice truly translates into games. In Game 1 they faced a tall, strong and talented Riot Squad team. The explosive offensive performance from Tydus was too much to handle. Using his main weapon, was finishing strong on the fast break, with three and-1 finishes on the first half. He was working hard to find his open teammates. William battled the opponents big bodies all evening, adding Sam's strong defensive performance and Marley's accurate long range shot they went on to defeat Riot Squad 50 X 42.
In game two the boys faced a very fast PSB team with two talented guards that gave them troubles through the first quarter. Once they got settled into the groove, lead by the incredible defensive performance of the two-punch Sam + Lincoln the squad found their way to victory. Tudys contributed with tough defense and a strong passing performance. William once again found his way to compete to every board and finish on the fast break. Marley and Kyree's ball was finding its way into the net and propelled the team to a strong 46-34 win!
Lightening fast on the break
With a speedy first step that, Tydus was blowing past defenders like nobody's business. Add the strong finishing on the fast break and it was just too much to handle. As a new member of the YB Power 2031 team, Ty is begining to find his groove as a team player who in addition to getting to his favorite spots, is looking can find the open men and relocate for an even more dangerous threat.

It all starts on Defense...
There was some solid efforts from these boys on the defensive side of the ball this evening. As they begin to buy into the team work that is needed to become a strong defensive team, they are putting themselves in a strong position to improve their instincts and celebrate each other's efforts one stop at a time!
