With A VERY strong performance by #15 Ajani, who has been making huge strides since joining the YB G-Power crew, these ladies cruised through all opponents this weekend with comfortable margins of victory in every game. The teams played very well all around, but the highlight really was the unselfish ways in which they shared the ball and celebrated each other.

Day 1 Solid wins

The first game the faced a good CDA team which was well coached and disciplined. However they just could not keep up with YB's physical play and accurate passing and finishing. Which lead to a 28 vs 17 victory. With strong performance by #24 Shannell.

Then came a Next Level team that was tall and strong, but again the unselfish play of the team led by combo guard #31 Lila who was finding her teammates with accuracy on the passes while seeing the next play develop. They team leveraged the speed of shooting guard #5 Anna for explosive fast breaks and unselfish decision making. Earning a 28 vs 6 Victory.

Day 2 back at it again.

Day two was no different. First came a PSB team that was not up for the task of handling the YB '33. With a 19 point scoring performance by combo guard #31 Lila, unbeatable defense by #1 Kamari and #15 Gigi, and rebounding dominance by 11U Forward #8 Trinity, the victory came easy with a final score of 53 x 9

Onto the Championship. We faced that same CDA team, and this time coach Cass made some defensive adjustments that gave them troubles from the start. On their way to claim the number 1 spot they beat CDA 30 X 13.

The bottom line. These players have put it so much work on their craft, their agility, conditioning, and overall have continue to show tremendous grit in every game they played. Expect nothing less next weekend when they will compete in the JPS Invitational against some solid competition as they will face Premier Caras and Grit.
