While the YB G-Power 2032 went on to a perfect finish of 10-0, the YB G-Power girls finish the championship game with a sweet re-match win against the only team that gave them a loss!

The YB G-Power girls had nothing short of a phenomenal run during the JPS Fall League — a season defined not just by wins and losses (well a single loss in 20 games if anyone is counting), but by transformation, unity, and relentless growth. From the first tip-off to the final buzzer, these young ladies embodied what it truly means to be part of something bigger than themselves. They learned to compete with heart, communicate with purpose, and celebrate every teammate’s success as their own. Over the course of the season, both groups evolved from individual players into cohesive, disciplined, and fiercely connected units. Their practices were filled with energy and intention — players listened, learned, and applied feedback with uncommon maturity. Every game became an opportunity to test their progress, sharpen their decision-making, and showcase their chemistry. Their bond deepened as they faced challenges together, learning that adversity is not an obstacle but a teacher. They became known for their unselfish play — moving the ball, helping on defense, and cheering as loudly for a teammate’s basket as for their own. Coaches praised their composure, humility, and commitment to team goals, noting how both squads grew into true representations of what Young Basketball is all about: development, camaraderie, and collective pride. By the end of the league, it was clear that these teams had built something lasting — not just stronger skills, but a culture rooted in trust, accountability, and joy. Their journey wasn’t just about basketball; it was about learning how to win the right way — together. Oh and they are about to run it back in the Winter!

About Saturday Night with the '33 girls
With both teams playing in the championship game at the exact same venue and at the exactly same time Coach Cass (with the '32) and Coach Brett (with the '33) split duties with the same goal in mind: The Championship Title. The '33 girls had an incredible regular season, losing only once — a setback that fueled their fire all the way to the championship game. When the rematch finally came, they were ready. Under the bright lights and a borderline hostile crowd they played with heart, focus, and fearless energy, turning every possession into a statement. The game was a thriller from start to finish, but when it mattered most, they rose above — hitting big shots, locking in on defense, and showing the unbreakable chemistry that defined their season. Down 4 points with 2 minutes left, they worked together to tie up the game with strong play from Power Forward Legend who scored back to back baskets, and then added a steal and another bucket to put them ahead by 2. Then with less than a minute left, Point Guard Lila was fouled and headed to line up for two bonus shots. Boy oh boy the girls had ice in her veins. With a wild opposing crowd she performed her routine and sunk two high arch swishes to put the opponents to sleep. When the buzzer sounded, redemption was complete. They weren’t just champions — they were proof of what belief, hard work, and togetherness can do.
Them '32 girls were not different!

From the very first game, they set out to make a statement — pure dominance. Despite playing together in a league for the first time as a new unit, they clicked instantly, overwhelming opponents with their energy, toughness, and team chemistry. Going 10-0 through the Fall season, they didn’t just win — they dominated, often by margins too big to count. With only six players from their age group, they showed grit, endurance, and a fearless attitude every time they stepped on the floor. Twice they faced the strongest teams in the league — and twice they left no doubt about who ran the court. This squad of fiery competitors doesn’t back down from anyone; they thrive on challenge and rise when it matters most. Champions through and through, they’ve earned their crown — and now they’re already hungry for the next one.
