From Coach: Walker is the definition of a workhorse. From the moment he joined the team, he fit seamlessly into the culture and embraced the team’s approach to the game. With a big personality and a great sense of humor, he keeps the energy high, always cheering on his teammates and celebrating their successes as much as his own. On the court, he has quickly carved out his role by becoming a monster on the boards, battling fearlessly for every rebound, and establishing himself as a relentless defender. His instincts on help defense are have rapidly developed and continue to shine—he reads plays well, anticipates opponents’ moves, and consistently shuts down their scoring opportunities. Offensively, he has been developing his game at a rapid pace, finishing strong around the rim and learning to use his aggressive drives to collapse defenses and create passing opportunities for open teammates. Fast and powerful in transition, he is a constant threat on the break. Tireless in effort, he plays hard from start to finish, rarely shows fatigue, and is always the first to dive on the floor for a loose ball.
