3 years ago, Coach Scott was new to coaching basketball. That brought a fresh perspective and a true passion for teaching. With a love for learning, he quickly pick up on coaching concepts and strategies, showing a strong commitment to developing as both a teacher and leader for the Young Basketball staff. Today is shows confidence on the sideline, understandings complex concepts, and is a true leader for our program.
What sets Coach Scott apart is his ability to connect with kids—building trust, encouragement, and enthusiasm on the court. Players enjoy working with him because of the positive energy, patience, and supportive guidance that makes the game fun while still challenging.
As part of the program, Coach Scott is excited to continue growing as a basketball coach, while sharing a genuine love for teaching and inspiring young athletes to give their best effort. As the Head Coach of the YB Power 2032 Team, he has done a phenomenal job and we see nothing but success in the years ahed for that special group of players under coach Scott

I never got to play organized basketball growing up, but I love the game and love to compete. Learning the x's & o's and coaching such talented kids has been a great joy.
What I love most about Young Basketball is:
Getting to see the team develop/learn together, celebrate the wins, and support each other when it doesn't go our way
