The impact of Young Basketball on my children...
Confidence in his game! Overall skill and IQ of basketball has jumped every year!! Friendships of teammates! How to be a good teammate! How is train, practice and play hard! Basketball is definitely one of his favorite sports!
Our testimonial about Young Basketball...
Case started practice with Coach Cass about 5 years ago, at the age of 6. At first it was just the regular practices every week. They worked on fundamentals and basic skills for the game of basketball. Coach Cass's energy, knowledge, and personality is one that Case really appreciates! When he formed teams and we could play in leagues and tournaments, it just made the passion of ballin and the loving competitive community increase more and more. We appreciate the families that are a part of our YB team! They/We all help each other out and would help each other anytime it is needed! This is an example of the inclusiveness and welcoming character Cass and his family exudes!
About Coach Cass...
We love Coach Cass! Cass is welcoming and kind to all that he meets. He is inclusive to those that want to be in his program, no matter the skill level and meets them where they are! He is articulate and detailed in his explanation of drills and why that matters in the big picture game of basketball! Coach Cass is direct, and has specific boundaries, but uses humor to be able to connect and keep it light;-) He pushes the athletes out of their comfort zone just enough to get that growth that is needed! Cass coaches the whole athlete! He loves on them and provides for them in ways many coaches might not. Cass has snacks at every practice. Cass celebrates every child's birthday with song and treats. Cass used to give out basketball cards after every practice.
Cass is wonderful and kind to all parents and family members. Coach is thorough about communication and expectations for parents and assistant coaches. Cass will stand up for what's right in the name of the game of basketball and our athletes. Coach Cass enjoys showing the love of the game and hoping everyone might love the game as much as he does. Coach Cass has a calling to grow the game of basketball and spread the love to as many athletes as possible!
